The Extra EA 300 L Aerobatic Aircraft

The German-built Extra 300L has the highest performance among all certified aerobatic aircraft types in the world. The outstanding Extra 300L is powered by a 300 horsepower engine which is driving a constant speed propeller. The Extra 300L aircraft body exists of a composite construction and is certified for +/- 10 Gs with solo or +/- 8 Gs with a passenger. The EA 300L Aerobatics Aircraft rolls at 360-400 degrees per second and is capable of unlimited level aerobatics and unlimited category competition. It is a purpose built aerobatic aircraft capable of extreme air show, competition and stunt style flying. The aerobatic monoplane was designed by German award-winning aerobatic pilot Walter Extra. The EA 300 is not only operated by Civilian. It has also Military operators:
- The Escuadrilla de Alta Acrobacia Halcones in Chile operates the 300L since 2003.
- The French Air Force operates the EA 300
- The Royal Jordanian Falcons, the national aerobatic team of Jordan, operates four Extra 300s

Extreme Flight Extra 300

The aerobatics experience lasts about two hours. Your flying adventure starts with meeting your instructor pilot to discuss your flight profile. Your pilot is an expert whose mission is ensuring that you have a very enjoyable aerobatics experience. It will start with some basic warmup maneuvers and then progress into basic and advanced aerobatics.

- Steep turns (up to 7G)
- Zero gravity parabola/weighlessness

Advanced maneuvers (up to +8 and -5 G`s)

- Outside loops

Before you fly the aircraft yourself your pilot will demo a maneuver and then talk you through it as you take the stick. Your flight ends with a military style overhead break approach and landing back at Aurora Municipal Airport‎. After the Extra 300L flight you can take pictures of yourself with the aircraft.
Your pilot is there to make you happy. You’ll be talking with your aerobatics pilot by intercom. Whenever you want more or less aerobatics or Gs, just let your pilot know.
This aerobatics aircraft is equipped with a two camera video system for debriefing training flights and as “G-Force memory” for fun rides. If the video option was selected for the flight you will receive the video on a USB drive after your flight, to share your aerobatics experience with friends and family.
