The coziness and the special seating arrangement—as a former paratrooper drop plane, you sit opposite each other on benches—means that even complete strangers quickly bond, and the whole group bonds in no time. And of course, everyone is welcome to take a seat in the cockpit and assist the pilot. The cost is CHF 1900 per flight hour - and maximum 12 people can fly along.

Flights generally take place throughout the year, but the focus is on spring to autumn.

First, you'll naturally take a closer look at this beautiful biplane. Your captain will be happy to introduce and explain his impressive aircraft to you. Your flying adventure in a historic biplane begins with an introduction to the Antonov An-2 "Avianna." This is followed by a briefing and a discussion of the flight program. You'll then be prepared for the flight and board before the actual sightseeing flight begins. Afterwards, there will be time for photos and a chat with the pilot and other passengers, often followed by a drink or dinner in the attractive airfield restaurant.

Add an hour to the actual flight time. It's also up to you. Of course, you're welcome to linger a while with the pilots and fellow passengers and reflect on the wonderful flight.

No. There's a bit of bumpiness in parts, but actual aerobatics aren't part of the program.

Of course! Your loved ones are welcome at the airfield. Just watching is a real treat, and during the flight, your companions can enjoy a coffee in the friendly airfield cafe, complete with a playground and a great view of the runway. Or—even better—simply bring them along for the flight!

The Antonov An-2 has a fascinating history. It was developed in 1947 by Soviet designer Oleg Antonov and made its maiden flight on August 31 of that year. Serial production began in the Soviet Union in 1948 and was later transferred to Poland, where it continued to be built until 1992. A total of 18,000 of this versatile aircraft were produced. The An-2 was originally designed for agricultural and forestry purposes, but was quickly adopted for a variety of roles, including passenger and cargo transport, military operations, and even as a seaplane and glacier plane. Its robust construction and versatility make it a valued aircraft to this day.

The Antonov An-2, also known as the "Colt," is a remarkable single-engine biplane first developed in the Soviet Union in 1947. It is the largest single-engine biplane still in service in the world.
