About this Flight
The second base in Germany after Bitburg to have an L-39 available for flights is located in Paderborn in the Ruhr area. You’ll fly in an original L-39 of the LSK (Luftstreitkräfte) of the NVA, the former DDR Military.
What will your Jet ride adventure in Paderborn be like?
The adventure’s itinerary is similar to other locations: After arrival, your pilot will meet you and walk you around the aircraft. Afterwards, you’ll be admitted to the briefing room where the flight programme will be discussed. This is your chance to express your wishes and direct the flight according to your needs. What follows is the flight safety training, explanation of in-flight systems and cockpit training. If the pilot deems you ready for a flight, you’ll be seated into the plane and buckled up.The canopy will be closed and locked and you’ll taxi to the runway.
