About this Flight
The L-39 Albatros jet flight in Czech Republic is a very attractive combination: Aero test pilots with thousands of L-39 flight hours fly with you in an area where aerobatics and low level flights are possible above the airfield. This saves time as we do not have to fly to an aerobatics area before, and it is great fun for friends and family watching you, they have never seen such a close airshow. Your jet flight adventure starts with a briefing to discuss your flight program. Whatever you prefer, let your pilot know. You can even control the L-39 Jet. A safety training including ejection seat training ensures that you know what to do in case of an emergency.
Your Jet Flight Program
Your Fighter Jet Ride-along will include a lot of aerobatics.
Maneuvers that can be flown:
- Rolls
- Invertet flight
- Stall
- Steep turns (up to 4-5Gs)
- Zero gravity/Weightlessness
- Spins
- Loops
- Tail-Chase
- High speed low level flight
After the flight you will have a photo session with your pilot and usually a relaxing talk follows. The whole adventure will take about 2.5 – 3 hours.
Pilots from James Bond “Tomorrow Never Dies”
Your pilots in Czech Republic are not only very experienced and nice guys, but they have also contributed to countless TV productions and movies. The best known is the intro of James Bond “Tomorrow never Dies”. After spying a terrorist bazaar on the Russian border, agent 007 James Bond discovers two nuclear torpedos mounted on an Aero L-39 Albatros aircraft (the model you can fly with us!). As a cruise missile is already on the way to destroy the bazaar, James Bond hijacks the L-39 and flies away while the bazaar explodes behind him. In fact, not Pierce Brosnan was flying the L-39, but our Czech pilots. For filming, a very old and heavy Camera developed by the Nazis was used, as all other models were not robust enough. It was so heavy that it nearly destroyed the shoulder of the cameraman when the pilot pulled 6Gs in a maneuver. Luckily the result was very nice, so the scene didn’t have to be repeated.
The Jet was also in BBC with lonely planet’s “Year of Adventures” with adventurer Ben Fogle and in countless production for the German TV station “Pro 7”.

FAQ
When is the Best Time to Fly?
Flights are available year-round. Due to longer daylight, generally more favorable weather conditions and therefore lower risk of flight rescheduling on short notice, we recommend to fly between March and early November. However, flights are also available in the winter months. Flights are possible upon appointment on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
What's the Recommended Flight Duration?
These flights are challenging! We recommend a 20-minutes flight. If you’re sure you can handle it, longer flights might be more appropriate.
Can my Friends and Family Accompany me?
Sure! Up to 4 of your family and friends can accompany you to the airfield for free and watch your preparation, briefing, take-off and landing.
Is it possible to receive a Souvenir Video or Photos?
Photos and videos can be recorded free of charge by yourself or your friends before and after the flight. In-flight videos can be added to your flight for a fee. When buying your flight, just select it from the checkout page.
