Your historical flights from Reichenbach in detail
In the open-top Bücker Bü-133 Jungmann, built in 1939, you'll experience classic aviator feeling over the Kandertal valley, complete with leather cap and goggles. Choose between 30- or 60-minute flights past Lake Thun and Lake Spiez, the Niesen mountain, or the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks – either as a relaxing scenic flight or with aerobatic maneuvers such as loops and rolls.
The Pilatus P-2, built in 1946, the first production aircraft from the Swiss manufacturer Pilatus, takes off with its characteristic 12-cylinder inline engine directly from the former Swiss Air Force airfield on the Kander River and flies past the Aletsch Glacier and the Matterhorn in 45 minutes. Its successor, the Pilatus P-3 with nosewheel landing gear, served with the Swiss Air Force until 1994 and can be booked as either a 30- or 60-minute flight, with routes over the Niesen and Stockhorn mountains and up to the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks.
