Your scenic flights in western Switzerland in detail

Experience the "tractor of the skies" – a robust biplane with a powerful radial engine – on a flight in the Antonov AN-2 departing from Birrfeld. Choose from four flight programs, ranging from a Rigi to a Säntis tour (CHF 250–350, approx. 1 to 1.5 hours), with the option of piloting the aircraft yourself where possible.

From Biel-Kappelen, you have three modern and classic scenic flight options: the Tecnam P2008, a modern two-seater high-wing aircraft with a digital glass cockpit; the tailwheel Cessna 150 HB-CMS, a classic built in 1964 with a 180-hp engine and a rich history of Swiss glacier flying; and the Robin DR400 HB-EXU with its characteristic gull wings and space for up to three passengers. All three aircraft will take you over the Three Lakes Region, the Jura Mountains, and, depending on the flight duration (30 to 180 minutes), as far as the Bernese Oberland and the Alps.

A true piece of aviation history awaits you with the North American T-6G Texan departing from Lausanne: As an "Advanced Trainer" of World War II, it prepared pilots for the transition to fighter aircraft like the P-51 Mustang. The aircraft, HB-RCN, built in 1943, flies with its 600-hp radial engine over Lake Geneva and, depending on the flight duration (30, 45, or 60 minutes), as far as the Alps or the Gruyères region, with optional aerobatic maneuvers such as loops and rolls.

The most intense experience is provided by the Aero L-39 Albatros military jet from Sion: At speeds of up to 950 km/h and maneuvers such as loops, Immelmann turns and split-S turns, it flies through the narrow valleys of the Valais Alps, past the Matterhorn and Aletsch Glacier – with a choice of 30 or 45 minutes of flight time and the option to fly yourself.
