Their aerobatic flights in Central Switzerland in detail
In an open-top Bücker Bü-133 Jungmann, built in 1939 and departing from Reichenbach, you'll experience classic aviator flying over the Kandertal valley and the Bernese Oberland, complete with a leather cap and goggles – with optional aerobatic maneuvers such as loops and rolls. The Pilatus P-2, built in 1946, with its characteristic 12-cylinder inline engine, takes off directly from the former Swiss Air Force National Airfield and flies past the Aletsch Glacier and the Matterhorn in 45 minutes, also with optional aerobatic maneuvers. Its successor, the Pilatus P-3, which served with the Swiss Air Force until 1994, can be booked as either a 30- or 60-minute flight with an aerobatic option.
For the most exhilarating experience, take a flight on the Pilatus PC-7 from Locarno in Ticino: Reaching speeds of up to 500 km/h, you'll zip through the valleys and gorges of the Gotthard region, past Lake Maggiore, performing aerobatic maneuvers such as loops and Immelmann turns. Experienced pilots from the Swiss PC-7 Aerobatic Team will fly the aircraft, and you'll even get the chance to pilot it yourself.
